Frequently Asked Questions

To keep your driveway protected and looking fresh, we recommend sealcoating every 2–3 years. This helps prevent cracks, weather damage, and fading from the sun.

Sealcoating acts like sunscreen for your driveway—it shields the surface from harsh UV rays, moisture, oil, and chemicals, all of which can cause damage over time. It also gives your pavement a refreshed appearance.

While the sealcoat may look dry within a few hours, we recommend waiting 72 hours before using your driveway again. Dry times can vary depending on weather, humidity, and sunlight. You are able to walk on your driveway 24 hours after your sealcoat is completed.

Sealcoating works best during warmer months, typically between late spring and early fall. We need dry conditions and temperatures above 50°F for the material to cure properly.

We always prep the surface first—cleaning oil spots, treating stains, and filling cracks where needed. That said, sealcoating is not a magic fix—it’s a preventative treatment, not a repair solution.

Nope! As long as we have clear access to your driveway and there are no vehicles or obstacles in the way, we can handle everything. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

Yes—we’ll place cones or tape at the end of the driveway to prevent traffic on your newly sealcoated driveway.

It’s simple—please move all vehicles, remove any lawn equipment, toys, or decorations, and make sure sprinklers are off 24 hours before and after the service.
